What ages is PlayOlu for?+
From newborn to twelve. Lullaby Lounge serves 0–12 months as a parent-soothing tool (audio only). Then kids use the app from age 1: Tiny Tots (1–3, parent-led), Little Learners (4–7), and Big Kids (8–12) — automatically set from your child's birth year.
What languages do you support?+
Launching with English, Yoruba, Zulu, Afrikaans, Spanish, and Portuguese. We're adding more based on what waitlist parents request.
Do my kids need their own login?+
No. Only parents have accounts. Kids pick their profile from a friendly avatar grid — no email, no password, no personal details.
Can my kids accidentally buy anything?+
No. There is no kid-facing shop. Coins are earned by playing, not bought. All purchases go through a parent-only checkout protected by an adult-only gate.
How does the speech / pronunciation feature work?+
Your kid taps the mic, says the word, and gets friendly thumbs-up feedback from Olu. No recording is stored — the audio is processed on-device or discarded immediately.
Will it work on tablets and phones?+
Yes — runs in any modern browser and installs as an app on iPad, Android tablet, or phone. Tablet-first design.
What does "lifetime" really mean?+
One payment, your family keeps access for the life of the platform. We may add optional paid expansion packs later, but the core never becomes a subscription.
